World Polio Day – 24th October
On 24th October, we joined Rotary members around the world in marking World Polio Day—an annual reminder of the ongoing effort to eradicate polio for good.
Here in Gibraltar, the iconic Moorish Castle was beautifully lit in purple to highlight the cause.
Our Rotary Club also held a fundraising and awareness event outside The Wine Shop on Main Street, where volunteers embraced the spirit of the day by painting donors’ fingernails purple—a fun and engaging way to spark conversation and support.
